Germany has a strong tradition of general pedagogy.Even in the diverse contemporary,there are still many famous pedagogues in Germany who are in pursuit of universality.Through a dialogue with Dietrich Benner,who is one of their outstanding representatives,this paper shows us the key figures,basic concepts and their comparisons,in order to give us a small portrait of general pedagogy in contemporary Germany.
