An introduction was made on the current status and existing problem of water resources supply and demand in Fuyang City of Anhui Province.There exists conflict between supply and demand.The author analyzed the progress and existing problem of Fuyang City in water resources utilization and management.In view of the problems of engineering-induced water shortage,quality-induced water shortage and low water utilization efficiency etc.,countermeasures were put forward aiming to improve the water resources comprehensive support capability and ensure sustainable utilization of water resources in Fuyang City.
