新常态下粤西地区会展经济现状及策略研究

A Research on the Current Development and Strategies on West Guangdong's Convention and Exhibition Economy in the New Normal

近年来,会展经济正在全球范围内蓬勃发展,不仅为所在地区和国家创造了可观的经济收益和社会效益,构成国民经济中令人瞩目的新兴板块之一,而且扮演着跨境贸易桥梁、世界经济风向标及文化展示窗口等举足轻重的角色。着眼于我国,会展经济的总体规模保持每年10%的发展增速,渗透进了相关产业及经济领域并带动了良性发展互动。粤西地区,凭借优越的沿海区位和自然资源,正以中国海博会落户湛江为契机发展区域经济,会展经济也随之崭露头角。但其发展现状仍暴露了诸多问题。本文通过以湛江市为例,把脉粤西地区的会展经济现状及现存挑战,并提出发展对策。

The convention and exhibition industry has been flourishing in the world,which has brought huge economic and social benefits.As one of the most important fields in the development of national economy,convention and exhibition economy has a series of key functions,such as playing roles as the bridge of international trade,the window of cultural display and the engine to other related economies.At present,China's convention and exhibition industry has penetrated into various economic fields with a more than10%annual growth rate.Among all the coastal cities,with its coastal location and climate,Zhanjiang has organized China Marine Economy Expo with consecutive success,which would provide an opportunity for the development of the local economy with the emerge of West Guangdong's exhibition economy.However,its development has exposed many problems.A diagnose on the existing challenges of exhibition economy in Zhanjiang City was made as a case to propose the countermeasures for the West Guangdong area.
