This paper introduces the design and configuration for power supply and distribution system in0.6mt/a methanolproject at Xianyang Petrochemical Co.It sums up the operation of the electrical system in recent years and describes the emergencyplan for the chemical plant when the power system is under abnormal conditions on the basis of the safe operation of the power systemand emergency response of the chemical plant.
