Objective:To explore and analyze the correlation between ear and pharynx swab culture and infection during the process of neonates born with intrauterine infection transferred to the neonatal intensive care unit(NICU).Methods:100cases of neonates transferred from obstetrics to NICU were selected. They were divided into the two groups. We explored the relationship between the positive rate of ear and pharynx swab culture and the incidence of infection. We analyzed the relationship between the contamination of bacteria and the rate of neonatal infection in the process of transport. Results:The positive rate of ear and pharynx swab culture in the infected group was significantly higher than that in the non infection group(P<0.05).After birth, the positive rate of ear and pharynx swab culture would be affected by the external pollution bacteria, which could increase the incidence of neonatal infection. Conclusion:The ear and pharynx swab culture have a very significant relationship with intrauterine infection in neonates. At the same time, the positive rate of ear and pharynx swab culture and the rate of neonatal infection can be increased in the process of transfer.
