对乡土世界的描绘,是现代文学中一直延续着的重要题材。现代文学中关于乡土世界的描绘基本呈现出两种审美追求:用文化批判的眼光来剖析乡土世界阴暗面的"大牧歌",和带着文化怀念的眼光描绘"桃花源"般的乡土世界的"小牧歌"。"小牧歌"和"大牧歌"是现代文学中乡土抒写的两种基本图式。

The depiction of local world is an important theme in Chinese modern literature.There are two kinds of basic imagination patterns in Chinese modern literature.The first is insisting on cultural criticism,and we can call it Great Idyll.The second is trying to awaken the reader's memory of Chinese traditional culture,and we can call it Small Idyll.
