"汉文佛典"是指历代用汉字记录书写的有关佛教方面的各类典籍,主体部分是历代汉文大藏经所收的典籍。佛教的传入是中国历史上的一件大事,它对中国文化各方面影响巨大。在语言文字方面,迄今为止,汉文佛典词汇、梵汉对音、语法、异文研究已取得很大成绩,汉文佛典文字研究也取得了不错的成绩,研究范围不断扩大,研究材料不断丰富,研究内容不断深入,为汉字研究提供了新的语料,注入了新的元素,有力地推动着汉字研究朝着更深更广的领域发展。

Chinese Buddhist Scriptures refer to all kinds of scriptures about Buddhism written with Chinese characters in all ages,whose main part are the scriptures included in the Chinese Tripitaka in all ages.The introduction of Buddhism is a great event in the history of China,which exerts great influence on all aspects of Chinese culture.In terms of languages,the research on vocabulary,Sanskrit-Chinese translation,grammar and variants of Chinese Buddhist scriptures has made great achievements up to now.The character research of Chinese Buddhist scriptures also got a good result,the research range has been enlarged continuously,the research material has been constantly enriched,the research content goes deeper,which provides a new corpus and new elements for Chinese character study and promotes the research of Chinese characters deeply.
