图书馆是研究型大学的信息资源服务中心,研究型大学图书馆的主要任务是组织和揭示科研过程中所需要的各种信息资源,优化服务流程,向科研人员提供专业的科研支持服务。文章采用网络调查法、文献调研法对美国10所研究型大学图书馆开展的科研支持服务进行调研分析,梳理出这10所图书馆开展科研支持工作的服务理念和实践经验。美国研究型大学图书馆开展科研支持服务的内容和形式既有重合交叉又各具特色,国内研究型大学图书馆应该加快服务转型,以科研用户需求为中心,整合全馆资源开展一站式科研支持服务工作。

Library is the central of Research University.Th e main task of the research university library is how to organize and reveal all kinds of information resources,to optimize service process and to provide professional research support service.Th e paper used the method of web survey and document analysis to investigate10American university libraries research support service,concluded the idea and practical experience of research supporting in foreign university libraries.American research university libraries research support not only have the same contents and forms but each has its own characteristics.Th e domestic research university libraries should accelerate service transition,to focus on research user’s needs and integrate whole library’s resources to carry out a one-stop service for research support service.
