发挥图书馆作用推动全民阅读活动开展——长春市图书馆在促进全民阅读中的探索

开展"全民阅读"活动,是我国贯彻落实党的十六大关于建设学习型社会要求的一项重要举措。图书馆的职能之一就是教育职能,倡导全民阅读是图书馆应尽的责任。图书馆以其丰富的馆藏资源,在倡导全民阅读活动中应发挥主导作用,成为全民阅读活动的主阵地。文章就全民阅读活动的背景及面临的问题进行分析,以长春图书馆为例,归纳已形成的阅读推广经验,为全民阅读活动的持续发展提供借鉴。

To carry out the:“universal reading”activities is an important measure for China to implement the requirements of the16th CPC National Congress on building a learning society.One of the functions of the library is the educational function,advocating universal reading is the responsibility of the library.The library,with its rich collection of resources,should play a leading role in advocating universal reading activities and become the main front of the universal reading activities.The paper introduces the background of the nationwide reading activities,analyzes the existing problems,and summarizes the experiences of reading promotion based on the practice of Changchun Library,aiming at providing reference for the sustainable development of nationwide reading activities.
