Development modes of media were summarized,and changes after the rise of new media were analyzed.Through an analysis of the advantages of new media,the impacts on traditional publication form of science and technologyperiodicals were proposed.It advocates that under the new situation in the new media age,science and technologyperiodicals need to integrate resources and make clear their positioning to enhance their core competitive ability with the helpof new media.
