官与绅:明人杨南金的两重角色

Official and Gentry:the Dual Role of YANG Nan-jin

明人杨南金的一生,以正德三年(1508年)为界,前后扮演着"官"和"绅"两重角色。其在正德三年(1508年)以前,相继任江西泰和知县和陕西道监察御史两职,任内恪尽职守,直节惠政,实为百姓拥戴的贤官。正德三年(1508年)以后,杨南金更多地扮演着"绅"的角色,为故乡云南多方面的发展作出重大贡献。

YANG Nanjin played the"official"and"gentry"dual role before and after the Year1508of Ming Dynasty.Before1508years,he served two official positions as Jiangxi Taihe County magistrate and Shaanxi prosecutors.During his tenure,being loyal to his duties,strong and unyielding,he was a virtuous officer who was supported by the common people.After Year1508,Yang Nan-jin played the role of"gentry"in more cases,making a significant contribution to the development of his hometown of Yunnan Province.
