Pu Songling wrote poems in praise of Wang Shizhen and his descendant

蒲松龄不但是蜚声中外的文言小说家,也是清初重要的诗词作家,一生留下了一千多首诗,其中赠答诗占有相当大的比重。在这些诗中,蒲松龄由衷地称赞王士禛及其子启涑、其孙兆酂的德行、政绩和文才,表明对他们的景仰与赞美。

Pu Songling is not only a famous novelist of classical Chinese novels,but also a great poet in the early of the Qing dynasty.He has written more thanthousands of poems in his life,and zengda poem(present each other with giftsoem)occupies a great amount of proportion in the whole poems.Among them,Pu Songling has sincerely admired the moral integrity,political achievements andliterary talent of Wang Shizhen,as well as his son Wang Qisu and his grandsonWang Zhaozan,and he also expressed his great respect and praise for them.
