一个地方的寒冷程度除了看极端低温外,应该综合分析最冷旬平均气温和最冷月平均气温等指标。文章把根河与公认的中国最冷地方的漠河进行对比分析,从两地的地面观测数据和气象站的建设情况,以及从地理学和农学的角度进行分析,对根河是否称得上"中国冷级"这一称号进行了初步的探讨。
