多源信息融合技术是20世纪发展的高新技术,关于多源信息融合,目前还没有形成一个统一的概念,其基本概念和融合模型仍以美国国防部数据融合联合指挥实验室(Joint Directors of Laboratories)提出的内容为标准。信息融合的算法还没有形成固定的模式,大多数领域专家提出的算法具有局限性。信息融合的应用主要表现在军事方面,近年逐步延伸到民用领域。

Multi-source information fusion technology is a new and high technology development in twentieth Century,a multi-source information fusion,it has not formed a unified concept,its basic concept and fusion model still takes the United States Department of defense data fusion joint command Laboratory(JDL)is proposed as the standard content.The algorithms of information fusion have not formed a fixed pattern,and the algorithms proposed by most experts have limitations.The application of information fusion is mainly manifested in the military field,which has gradually extended to civilian areas in recent years.
