Objective:To establish a safety management system for medical linear acceleratorso as to avoid the occurrence of safety incidents and to guarantee the safety of patients,medical staff and the public.Methods:According to the relevant laws,regulations anddocuments of medical linear accelerator,the safety management institution of medical linearaccelerator was enacted,and the safety management system of medical linear acceleratorwas established,and all of them were gradually improved in the process of operation andimplementation.Results:The establishment of safety management system of medical linearaccelerator could achieve the safety management of medical linear accelerator,and regulatethe work of safety management about medical linear accelerator,and avoid the occurrence of accident and error.Conclusion:The establishment and implementation of the safety management system of medical linear acceleratorcan provide effective guarantee for the safe running of medical linear accelerator,and provide reliable safetyassurance for radiation protection of patients,medical staff and public.
