吴钟善是清末民初闽南诗坛的大家,不仅文学作品造诣精深,且对台湾与大陆的文化交流作出了卓越的贡献,其诗文作品既有突出的艺术成就,又有重要的史料价值。关于吴钟善的生平与创作情况,迄今尚无系统的梳理。本年谱对吴钟善本人的诗、词、文等各类作品以及同时代人的诗文和其他相关资料作了细致的分析和整理,逐年罗列,以简述吴钟善一生行实及其文学创作情况。

Wu Zhongshan,a great master of poetry in Late Qing Dynasty and Early People's Republic in Southern Fujian,not only made profound achievements in literary creation but also made outstanding contributions to cultural exchanges between Taiwan and MainlandChina.His works demonstrate both outstanding artistic and historical values.Unfortunatelyso far no systematic researcheshad been conducted to sort out the life and the works of Wu Zhongshan,thus this chronicle of Wu Zhongshan illustrateshis real life and literary creation year by year through systematic and meticulous analysis and sorting on his poems,Ci poetry and prose as well as the works of the poets of the time and some other relevant materials.
