Rare earth market analysis in October 2016

Almost all of rare earth listed companies had released their third quarter report by the end of October, 2016. However, the dampen market imposes heavy strain on these rare earth enterprises. China Northern Rare Earth achieved operating revenue of 3.565 billion yuan, down 20.64% year on year, and a 34.34 million yuan net profit attributable to shareholders, a drop of 88.61% year on year; Rising Non-Ferrous Metals achieved business income of 2.180 billion yuan, up 2.11% year on year, and a net profit loss of 118 million yuan, down 22.92% year on year;
