The study on the relationship between intestinal bacteria and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease increases each year. The intestinal microflora imbalance resulted in the intestinal flora overgrowth, the increasing permeability of intestinal mucosa, intestinal endotoxemia, the production of infl ammatory factors plays a vital role in the development of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. The study shows that the correction of intestinal flora imbalance could improve insulin resistance, lose weight, cure diabetes and ameliorate nonalcoholic fatty liver disease at the same time. The conception on the correction of intestinal flora imbalance could provide a new therapeutic measure and the preventive method for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
