英语国家的网络不再是单纯的资源集结,而是比较成熟的虚拟社会。中国的教育信息化发展、互联网超越时空的特点给中国英语学习带来了类本土的英语语言文化环境,能够实现外语学习相对于二语学习才具备的真实语境与社会互动。积极鼓励和帮助学习者进入虚拟真实的英语社会文化环境,激发学习者国际交流动机,帮助学习者通过社会活动开展自主的个性化学习,使之通过阅读、倾听、观察、模仿、体验、反思等学习行为有效提高自身英语水平,实现我国英语教育的跨文化交流学习目标。

Networks in the major English-speaking countries,rather than being just nodes of information,have developed into virtual societies.The interconnectivity of the global networks thus creates a dynamic near-native English language and cultural environment that can both generate authentic materials and facilitate real social interaction to the Chinese English learners who have access to the Internet.Helping students engage with the virtual societies can motivate them to contact the real English world and individualize their English social learning.By the social learning behaviors of reading,listening,observing,imitating,experiencing,experimenting,reflecting,Chinese English learners can probably acquire better English and simultaneously develop the cross-cultural communication competence.
