As one of the earliest and influential newspapers in modern China,the ShenBao had carried out a great deal of tracking and comment on the fierce conflict between the people and the church.Through the research and analysis of these publications not only can further clarify the origin of conflict between Chinese people and religion and conflict type but also can know the attitude of people on the west of church,which is of special significance for us to understand and study modern Chinese Society.
