19世纪中叶,中国爆发了一场声势浩大反帝反封建的太平天国运动,可谓"其兴也浡焉,其亡也忽焉"。究其原因在于实践与理论的背离,而且其理论也多系假大空,脱离实际,自欺欺人。像虚无缥缈的"太平天囯","兄弟姊妹"称谓的人际关系,极端禁欲的错误规定,不能长久的圣库制度,以及寄望上帝的虚幻理想,都是其失败原因的具体体现。

In the middle of the19th century,a grand anti-imperialist and anti-feudal movement of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom broke out in China.The reason for its sudden rise and fall lies in its deviation of practice from theory,which is mostly false and self-deceptive.The illusory Heavenly Kingdom,appellations like"brothers"and"sisters",extreme abstinence,public treasury,and illusory ideals entrusted with God are the main reasons for its failure.
