Britain is still a male-dominated society in the end of the eighteenth century to the beginning of the nineteenth century.As a female realistic write,Jane Austen is good at describing the characters.Although female is always Jane Austen’s leading character,around the heroine the males with various shapes and distinct personalities represent the different type of that era and show the author’s attitude towards men.By introducing the female literature of male-dominated society and Austen’s works,analyzing Jane Austen's attitude towards men in Emma based on the deconstruction of the society of the male supremacy.
