Analysis of Distribution of Strong Convective Weather in Shanghai and Its Causes

摘要 Based on the data of various types of strong convective weather in Shanghai from April and September during 1998- 2004,the temporal and spatial distribution of strong convective weather were analyzed. The results showed that the number of days with strong convective weather in Shanghai from April to September showed an increasing trend during 1998- 2009,and all kinds of strong convective weather appeared frequently from June to August; K index,SI index,Pwv,CAPE,TOT index,SWEAT,and θsedif85 had good indicating significance for the occurrence of strong convective weather such as thunderstorm gales,strong lightning,and hail.
