以微课形式探究英语词源词汇的可行性分析 被引量:1

摘要 词汇是语言学习的基本单位及重要组成部分,在语言学习中具有举足轻重的作用。语言源于文化,文化孕育语言,而圣经、古希腊罗马神话等作为西方文化的精粹,更是英语词源词汇的重要来源。把圣经、古希腊罗马神话及日常生活中常见的词源词汇故事作为切入点,对学生的英语词汇学习进行研究分析,有助于了解英语词源词汇的文化与内涵。实践表明:以微课形式探析英语词源词汇,有助于学生将词汇背后的文化与词汇本身相结合,促进学生的英语词汇学习。 Vocabulary is the basic element in language learning and it plays a crucial role in it.Language originates from culture and culture fosters language.As the essence of western culture,the Holy Bible,ancient Greek and Roman mythologies etc.are the essential source of English etymological vocabularies.Based on the etymological words and their stories from the Holy Bible,ancient Greek and Roman mythologies,this study analyzes the current vocabulary learning situation for college students,which is helpful for them to understand the culture and denotation behind etymological vocabularies.As the study shows,the study of the feasibility of teaching English Etymological Vocabularies in the form of micro class is beneficial for the students to learn and combine“Micro class”with“Etymology,associate words and their etymological stories so as to learn and bear in mind more words.
