Performance Analysis of Space-Time Coding in Wireless Communication

摘要 空时编码具有通信容量高、抗干扰能力强等特点,可以有效克服多径衰落对通信系统的影响,广泛应用于无线通信。针对无线通信中的信道特点,分别介绍了空时分组码、分层空时码、空时网格码在无线通信中的编译码方案,并对比分析三种空时编码技术的优缺点,最后通过matlab仿真分析三种空时编码在瑞利衰落信道下的误码性能。结果表明,空时网格码具有最优的误码性能,但译码复杂度过高;分层空时码可以有效提高系统传输速率,但误码性能不佳;空时分组码具有较强的抗干扰能力,且译码复杂度较低。 Space-time coding,for its high communication capacity and strong anti-interference ability,could effectively overcome the impact of multipath fading on the communication system and thus is widely used in wireless communication.For the channel characteristics of wireless communication,the coding/decoding scheme of space-time block code,layered space-time code and space-time trellis code in wireless communication are introduced respectively;the advantages and disadvantages of these three space-time coding techniques are compared and analyzed.Finally,MATLAB simulation on the BER performance of these three space-time codes in Rayleigh fading channels indicates that the space-time trellis code has the best bit error rate,but the decoding complexity is too high;the layered space-time codes could effectively improve the system transmission rate,but the BER performance is poor;the space-time block code has strong anti-interference ability,and the decoding complexity is low.
