This report reviews the history of the Russian Internet and presents the development status of the Russian cyberspace from the network infrastructure,strategy and planning,application and development,security and governance,as well as trends and so on.The Russian Internet started very early,but there had been long-term development lag because of the political changes.After entering the new century,the development of the Russian Internet shows a rapid rise in the trend and releases tremendous potentiality.
