Objective:To explore the correlation between unreasonable use of antibacterial agents and adverse drug reactions(ADR).Methods:The clinical data from150cases of patients with adverse drug reactions were retrospectively analyzed and the correlation was deduced. Results:There were76cases of adverse drug reactions(50.67%)and the majority was caused by quinolones(43.42%)andβ-lactam antibiotics(30.26%).The main parts involved by ADR were skin and soft tissue and digestive system. The main manifestations for the unreasonable use of antibacterial agents were over long transfusion time, over fast dripping, high drug concentration and overdose and they all were significantly correlated with the incidence of adverse drug reactions. Conclusion:The major reason for adverse drug reaction is unreasonable use of antibacterial agents. Therefore, the reasonable use of antibacterial agents should be strengthened so as to reduce the incidence of ADR.
