高职学生英语词汇水平研究及其对词汇教学的启示

摘要 论文在对237名高职学生进行词汇水平测试的基础上,研究了高职学生的词汇水平(1)。结果表明:高职学生的词汇水平较低,不同职业学校之间学生的词汇水平没有显著差异,但高职学生与初中生和高中生的词汇水平有显著差异。在此研究结果的基础上,笔者提出了教师在词汇教学中要重视训练高职学生使用词汇策略以提高词汇水平。 This paper studies the vocabulary level of the students in higher vocational college based on the test of vocabulary level of237students.The results show that the vocabulary level of the students in higher vocational college is low.There is no significant difference in vocabulary level among the students from different vocational schools.However,there is significant difference in vocabulary level between highervocational students and juniormiddle school students and seniormiddle school students.On the basisof this study,the author puts forward suggestion that teachers should paymore attention to the trainingofvocabularystrategies for higher vocational students in vocabularyteaching so as toimprove theirvocabularylevel.
