从豪斯质量评估模式看张培基英译散文——以《想北平》为例

English Translation Prose from Zhang Peiji from the Perspective of House's TQA——Taking Memories of Peiping for Example

"形散而神不散"是散文的特点,散文的翻译要同时关注内容和风格。张培基的翻译灵活巧妙地运用翻译技巧,不仅译其形而且传其神,其《英译中国现代散文选》中,加入了大量的注释,从文化等方面解释其作品。该文在探讨英译散文主要特点的基础上,选取《想北平》作为最有代表性的译文,以豪斯翻译质量评估模式为理论依据,从语场、语旨、语式的角度出发,评估《想北平》译文翻译质量的可操作性及有效性。

The prose is featured by"loose in shape but convergence in spirit",its translation is emphasized by content and style.The writer,Zhang Peiji,not only keeps the original form but also present the spirit with masterly transition skill.There have many annotations in selected modern Chinese prose writings in English,and translates the prose from the aspect of culture.The thesis concludes main features of prose translation in English,and then choose Memories of Peiping as the most representative translation.With the theoretical basis of House's TQA,the suitability and effectiveness of the translation of Memories of Peiping from the aspect of field,tenor and mode are evaluated in the paper.
