This paper discusses the ways of improving docent service capacity of science and technology museum.Science and technology museum plays a positive effect in disseminating scientific knowledge and enhancing the scientific quality of public.As the link betw een museum and audience,docent service shows the service concept,service mode and service quality of science and technology museum,and it can improve public experience.The information age puts forward new challenges to the service ability of science and technology museum,so the science and technology museum should improve service ability from the aspects of concept,management system and event planning.
