摘要
在当前大学英语教学变革的背景下,本文从两套医学英语教材的核心词汇覆盖率及超纲词汇分布入手,考察了教材在ESP及EGP两个维度的效用及教材难度梯度。最后以量化的方式论证了两套教材对EGP及ESP学习的助益,并通过教材难度曲线图,为教材编写提供了一些值得信赖的参照。
With college English teaching changing profoundly,this paper discusses both the utility of the two sets of medical English textbooks from the perspective of ESP and EGP and the difficulty gradient by analyzing the coverage of core vocabulary and distribution of the words beyond the list.The paper proves the high utility of the two sets of textbooks for EGP and ESP through empirical data,and provides some suggestions for the compiling of textbooks.
