改写理论视角下的张爱玲自译《金锁记》

On Eileen Chang' Self-translation Work The Golden Cangue from the Perspective of Rewriting Theory

安德烈·勒菲弗尔的"翻译改写理论"使译者的主体性得到了极大的彰显。自译作为一项创造性的改写活动,赋予了译者更大的自由性和创新性。张爱玲的作品《金锁记》历经5次改写与重译,其英译本为学界提供了一种极为典型的自译研究素材。《金锁记》英译本The Golden Cangue的改写改译过程、译者所采取的异化为主的翻译策略以及文化因素的翻译等体现了译者的主体性,对传播中国文化有着积极的意义。

The famous“Translation as Rewriting Theory”proposed by Andre Lefevere focuses on translatorssubjectivity.As a creative rewriting activity,self-translation gives translators more autonomy and creativity.The Golden Cangue created by Eileen Chang,with five times of rewriting and retranslating has served us a supreme example of self-translation study.This Paper began from the discussion of the relationship between rewriting and translation,rewriting and self-translation,as well as the significance of Rewriting Theory,with emphasis on the main translation strategy--foreignization employed by Eileen Chang in the process of rewriting and the translation of cultural factors,which not only manifested greatly her subjectivity as a self-translator,but also her positive attitude in spreading Chinese culture.
