摘要
漳州小吃历史悠久,是闽南饮食文化的一大特色。现有的漳州小吃英译名称很少,也不够准确。为推广漳州小吃文化,促进漳州国际化交流,以功能翻译理论为指导原则,提出适当的翻译方法,介绍并翻译了漳州主要的特色小吃,力求使其英译名称能传达小吃的原材料和烹饪方法等基本信息,又能弘扬漳州的饮食文化。
Zhangzhou snack,with a long history,is a typical part of food in Southern Fujian.The current Chinese-English translation of Zhangzhou local snacks is very limited and inaccurate.Based on the Functional Translation Theory as the guiding principle,some applicable translation methods are suggested.This article introduces and translates some popular Zhangzhou local snacks,hence to promote Zhangzhou snack culture and its internationalization.The translation conveys some basic information of the local snack,such as the raw material and cooking techniques,which popularizes Zhangzhou cooking culture.
