“伛偻”小考

On the Interpretation of “Yulv(伛偻)”

分析"伛偻"在文献中的语义特征,发现"伛偻"与"佝偻、踽偻、痀慺、痀偻、曲偻、偊旅、妪、痀瘘"是一组异形词,义为"曲背"。其中"区、伛、痀、曲"与"句"同源。用因声求义的办法进一步分析得知:"句、曲、区、伛、痀、拘、笱、鉤、翑、跼(跔、)、(枸)、、斪"同表"曲"义,语音相近或相同,是一组同源词。

The semantic features of“Yulv(伛偻)”in ancient literature is analyzed.By referring to relevant literature and reference books,it is found that“Yulv(伛偻)”,“Goulou(痀偻)”,“Yulv(踽偻)”,among other words,are actually variants of a common meaning,bending.Among them,“Gou”,“Qu”,“Yu”,“Gou”,“Qu”are cognate words.And by further studying their meaning,it is found that“Gou”“Qu”,“Yu”and other words,with same or similar pronunciation,all mean“bending”.Therefore,they are cognate words.
