民族高等教育是我国高等教育的重要组成部分,其爱国主义教育效果事关民族团结和民族地区稳定,必须坚持不懈地认真落实。传统的爱国主义教育模式存在着一定的缺陷,难以适应新形势下的爱国主义教育需要,亟须引入公民意识教育来进行补充加强。民族高校应当结合实际需要,科学准确地制定公民意识教育内容,同时要灵活采用课堂灌输、互联网传播、课外活动和社会实践等方式和途径,与时俱进地加强公民意识教育,让公民意识在学生中内化于心、外化于行,使他们不断强化爱国主义精神,坚定维护民族团结和国家统一。

Higher education for nationalities is an important part of higher education in our country.The effect of patriotic education in universities for nationalities is related to national unity and stability in ethnic areas,so it must be implemented conscientiously and consistently.There are some flaws in the traditional model of patriotic education,making it difficult to adapt to the needs of patriotic education under the new situation,so it is urgent to introduce civic education to supplement and strengthen it.In accordance with the actual needs,universities for nationalities should formulate the content of civic education scientifically and accurately.At the same time,it is necessary to flexibly adopt ways and means of classroom instillation,Internet dissemination,extra-curricular activities and social practice to enhance civic consciousness education in the new period,so as to promote students to internalize and practice civic consciousness,thus making them continuously strengthen patriotism and resolutely safeguard ethnic solidarity and national unity.
