摘要
高职教育中,职业用途英语课程面临学生英语语言基础较差、自主性学习能力差等问题,积极地运用计划、监控和监测等元认知策略来帮助学生学会学习是高职院校职业用途英语教师的重要任务。教师可以借助口语活动和写作活动培养学生的元认知策略,以帮助他们更好地规划、调控和检测自我英语学习进度,从而形成更好的自主学习能力,提高对英语学习的动机和信心。
In vocational education,the teaching of EVP faces the problems of the learners’poor language competencies and low ability of autonomous learning.To solve these problems,teachers should try to cultivate students’meta cognitive strategies like planning,self regulation and self monitor strategy.Teachers can cultivate students’meta cognitive strategies through speaking and writing activities so as to enhance their motivation and self confidence in learning English as well as their autonomous learning abilities.
