Dewey is an American pragmatic philosopher and educator whose education thought always contains deep social care.The education ideal of Dewey is a democratic society,and education plays an important role in the development of the living habits necessary for a democratic society and the individual capabilities needed to reach a democratic society.Dewey criticizes the traditional education and proposes that education is the reformation of students’experience.School should provide members with the common life of special environment,personal gain sharing experience to participate in social life,develop critical thinking and comprehension.That plays a proper role for the conservation of the democratic society.
