浅析赛珍珠《大地》与鲁迅《风波》中的意象

On the Images of Pearl Buck's The earth and Lu Xun's The storm

通过选取美国作家赛珍珠与中国乡土文学代表作家鲁迅的代表作品进行意象比较,折射出两位作家不同的文化意识形态、不同的情感寄托:作为象征意象的土地,在赛珍珠笔下被当作救世主,表现了人物对土地的依恋、着迷、固守体现了西方人对上帝的信仰,试图在土地中救赎自己的灵魂,实现自己的价值;而鲁迅笔下的辫子,则与中国国民的奴隶意识和奴性心态相联系,揭示出深藏在国民心中的一块顽疾。

By choosing representative works by American writer Pearl Buck and Chinese vernacular literature writer Lu Xun,image comparison is made,which reflects the two writers were in different cultural ideology and showed emotional sustenance.In Pearl Buck’s works,the land,as a symbolic image,served as a savior,showing the attachment and fascinated of the characters,which reflects the western belief in god,that is trying to redeem himself in the midst of the land of the soul,to realize their own value.Braids in Lu Xun’s works are linked with the slave consciousness and servility mentality of the Chinese people,revealing a stubborn disease deep in the heart of the people.
