The Current Situation and Thinking of Higher Vocational Spoken English Teaching in the New Era

新时代充满了机遇与挑战,传统的高职英语教学模式已不能很好地满足当下社会飞速发展的需求。高职院校需要重新审视英语教学,重视学生的英语口语交际能力。具体做法可以从修改课程设置、加强师资队伍建设、改进教学模式、培养学生正确的英语学习观念和方法入手。

The new era is full of opportunities and challenges.The traditional mode of higher vocational English teaching can not meet the current rapid development of society.Therefore,higher vocational colleges need to reexamine English teaching and attach importance to students'spoken English communication skills.Specific practices can start from modifying the curriculum,strengthening the construction of teaching staff,improving the teaching mode,cultivating students'correct English learning concepts and methods.
