在英语学习中,我们会遇到许多表示动物的词语。其中一些词语随着语言本身的不断发展变化其意义已经并不局限于仅指某一种动物,而赋有了更多的引申意义;并且其用法也不单单拘泥于名词,而常常被用作动词,形容词,或某种固定搭配。本文即基于文化背景的基础,结合其引申意义,阐述了英语中动物词语的使用方法。
In every language,there are many animal words,among them some have been endowed the analogical meanings beyond the original meanings with the development of the language itself.Further more,these words are sometimes been used as a verb or a fixed phrase as well as a noun.This article just discusses the usages of the animal words in English based on the cultural background,with the analogical meaning of the words.
