Proper installation is a fundamental condition for normal operation and worksafety of chemical facilities.And the welding quality of the equipment and pipelines directlyaffects the installation quality and the performance and operation at large.Since the workenvironment of most chemical equipment and pipelines is poor,supervising the weldingprocess quality is an important guarantee for qualifi ed installation.Starting from the commonproblems affecting the welding quality of chemical projects,the author lists the commonwelding defects and elaborates the key points for welding quality control.Through case study,the paper points out the important role of equipment supervision in the installation of chemicalequipment and pipelines.
