The Analysis on the Impact of “Coal-Electricity Contradiction” on Ningxia's Economy

在国家继续深化供给侧结构性改革,着力解决煤电过剩问题的背景下,2017年"煤电矛盾"在宁夏再度升级。在煤价波动由市场主导、电价受政府管控的环境下,"煤电矛盾"对电力成本占比高的企业及地方经济产生了不良影响,建议统筹推进煤电去产能,加快电力市场化改革进程,推动煤电一体化发展。

Under the background that supply-side structural reform has been continuously deepened and great efforts have being made to solve the problem of excess coal and electricity production capacity,in March of2017,“coal-electricity contradiction”upgraded again in Ningxia,and seven major thermal power enterprises jointly wrote to the Economic and Information Commission in Ningxia,reflecting that the rise of coal prices made the thermal power industry fall into a predicament of the overall losses,and hoping that the coal price and the direct electricity price transaction can be reduced or the direct transactions can be respited.In the situation that the volatility of coal prices is dominated by the market and the electricity price is controlled by the government,“coal-electricity contradiction”produces a adverse effect on the enterprises with high cost of electricity and the local economy,which should be paid attention to.
