试论中国传统文化在大学英语教学中的必要性

On the Necessity of Chinese Traditional Culture in College English Teaching

实现有效的跨文化交际是大学英语教学的核心目标,但是目前在大学英语的课堂上,教师忽视了中国传统文化的渗透,导致了中国传统文化在跨文化交际中的缺失。本文阐述了将中国传统哲学思想、中华民族语言及中华民族风俗三个方面融入到大学英语教学中的作用,强调了中国传统文化在大学英语教学中的必要性。

Accomplishing effective cross-cultural communication is the goal of college English teaching,but teachers ignored the infiltration of Chinese traditional culture in college English teaching.Therefore,it led to the lack of Chinese traditional culture in cross-cultural communication.This paper expounds the effects of blending in Chinese traditional philosophy,Chinese ethnic language and customs of the Chinese nation with college English teaching and emphasizes the necessity of the Chinese traditional culture in college English teaching.
