摘要
无损图像压缩可以显著提高电子货架标签通信效率。将自有通信协议和图像内容结合,提出一种优化的游程算法,并与字符编码方式进行对比。结果表明,优化游长算法可以获得低于61.2%的压缩率,字符编码方式可以获得低于22.2%的压缩率,但是会引入额外的flash。
Lossless image compression algorithm is important is improving the communication efficiency in Electronic Shelf Labels.An optimized Run-length encoding method is proposed.The calculation results are compared with Character coding.Optimized Run-length encoding can obtain compression factor smaller than61.2%while the value is smaller than22.2%for character coding.Addition flash is needed for character coding,which will increase cost.
