The behavior of population migration is complicated and has some regular rules.Research on the behavior of population migration has become the hot domain of multi-inter disciplines.This article analyzes the theory skeleton and the frontier of the studies of the behavior of population migration.The analysis shows that secondary migration and return migration have become the new research hotspots in the context of urbanization and social structural transformation,and it concludes that it is very urgent to develop some new theories to reveal the law of the complex dynamic process of the behavior of population migration.Furthermore,researchers need to incorporate social and psychological factors into the analytical framework in the future,and study the dynamic mechanism and evolving mechanism of the behavior of population migration.Also,it is worth pointing out that,the theories and methods in complex systems fi eld provide a breakthrough for the further study.
