摘要
《世说新语》以其展示的魏晋风度以及独特的叙事方式获得了后世文人的高度认可,从唐代至民国出现了30余部模仿之作,形成了一个小说流派——"世说体"小说。这种小说流派以历史或当代的真实人物为描写对象;内容按照分门别类的体例,以类相从;故事规模属于短篇体制;文字表达简单隽永。"世说体"小说以特殊的叙事方式,生动地展现了古代文人学士的精神面貌和审美情趣,是这种小说流派源远流长的重要原因。
New Terms in the Worldly Talks has got a high degree ol recognition from the later writers because ol the demeanor ol Wei and Jin dynasties it has portrayed,as well as its unique narrative method.It has got more than30imitative works from Tang dynasty to the Republic of China,and has formed a school of novels of M Shishuo Style NovelsM.These novels choose the real historical or realistic figures as their descriptive objects.The contents of these novels have been classified according to the same kind.Besides,these novels belong to the short ones in length,and the words are simple but meaningful.Thus,the main reason why these novels have been long standing is that they have portrayed the spiritual attitudes and aesthetic tastes of the ancient scholars in a special way of narration.
