Septic tank is the first structure in sewage treatment.It could effectively float light oil and other light substances from sewage into the upper layer.Sludge and other sediments were separated in the lower layer,making the clear water out of the middle.It had a good effect on water purification.Because of its simple and efficient treatment effect,it is widely used in the drainage design of residential buildings.In this paper it was mainly introduced several types of septic tanks and their application effect in recent years,for designers in the selection of reference.
