This paper introduces the principles and advantages of remote sensing technology in water environment monitoring,and focuses on its application in inland water environment and marine environment.Remote sensing technology for water environment management has obvious advantages over traditional methods.In order to better adapt to the requirements of water environment monitoring,the future can improve the accuracy of remote sensing monitoring,and traditional technologies,GPS and GIS to do further research.
