Li Yuanyi’s family,a representative family in Tang Dynasty,underwent several tribulations but could exist between the beginning of Tang Dynasty to the late of Tang Dynasty,as a royal collateral family.There was a rare phenomenon in overall history of the Tang.Taking Li Yuanyi’s family as the breakthrough point,the family’s official experiences and main deeds were examined in detail,and the family’s epitaph restored the lineage.According to the political structure and social environment,Li Yuanyi’s family and the rise and fall of the Tang Dynasty were interpreted.
