英汉道歉语的语用对比分析

A Comparative Analysis of English and Chinese Apologies

道歉语的应用在跨文化交际中至关重要,不仅代表着致歉者的英语水平,更体现了致歉者的个人修养。从跨文化角度对英汉道歉语的选择及语境特征、英汉道歉语的用语形式进行解析,进而从道歉行为认识上的差异、道歉用语使用频率上的差异、社会距离对英汉道歉语的影响、相对权势对英汉道歉语的影响四个层面,对两种文化背景下的差异性形成原因进行分析,并提出跨文化融合建议。

The application of the apology in cross-cultural communication is crucial,because it not only stands for apologizers’English level,but also embodies their personal cultivation.This paper analyzes English and Chinese apologies from the cross-cultural angle in terms of the language selection,context characteristics and the language form.This paper also analyzes the causes of differences between English and Chinese apologies from the apology behavior understanding,the frequency of using the apology,the influence of social distance on the apology as well as the influence of the relative power on the apology,and then puts forward suggestions on cross-cultural integration.
